Casting Locals for Bruce Springsteen biopic starring Jeremy Allen White Shooting in Asbury Park, NJ

Seeking locals for background work in various roles not covered by SAG-AFTRA.

  • Morris County, NJ - Dec. 5, 2024 (NEW DATE) - children ages 3-17 yrs and adults of all ages and ethnicities, for scenes set in early 1980s Spring.

  • Asbury Park, NJ - Dec. 9-13 and 16, 2024 - children ages 6-12 yrs and adults of all ages and ethnicities for scenes set in 1950s and early 1980s.

  • Bergen County, NJ - Jan 9-10, 2025 - people ages 18-30s and all ethnicities for scenes set in early 1980s.

You may be asked to attend a costume fitting in Jersey City, NJ prior to the shoot date(s).

HAIR NOTES:

1980s Scenes: Men: should have longer/shag haircuts. Long rocker style is also great. No fades, buzz cuts or super short hair for men. For women: any length is great, chin/shoulder length is ideal. Layers are great. No long extensions. Curly hair and perms are great!

1950s Scenes: Must be ok getting a 1950s period haircut.

PLEASE NOTE:

-TCS Louisiana Productions 5, Inc. is the producer / employer for this production.

-You must be ok working interior and exterior, have no allergies to wool, and be ok working around atmospheric smoke.

-As always, we ask for full day/night availability for the shoot dates.

-Height, weight, and clothing sizes are asked for costuming purposes only. Sizes are only needed as information to help the costume department pull clothing at your wardrobe fitting.

-Must be able to present valid identification to fill out a Federal I9 form and be paid.

-Transportation to location is NOT provided.

-Hotel accommodations are not provided.

-This background performer role is NOT covered by a SAG-AFTRA CBA.

Casting Cape May Locals for Feature Film

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking locals to work as background aka extras in a feature film shooting in Cape May, NJ May 12-16, 2024. Scenes take place in 1965 at a concert. 

You must be:

  • ok working interior and exterior

  • have no allergies to wool

  • ok with a period appropriate haircut and facial hair

  • ok working around smoke.

Everyone cast will need to attend a paid costume fitting in Jersey City, NJ prior to the shoot date. Transportation provided to/from Cape May to Jersey City for fitting.

Transportation to Cape May for filming is NOT provided. Hotel accommodations are not provided. 

SAG-AFTRA PAY: $208/8hrs

NonSAG-AFTRA Pay: $176/10hrs ($16/hr)

Casting Monmouth County Locals for upcoming feature film

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking locals to work as extras in a high school movie musical from Paramount Pictures, filming in Middletown, NJ March-April 2023.

Casting NJ locals to play:

  • High School Students (ages 18+ who can portray younger)

  • Teachers

  • Parents

  • Neighbors

Please note, we are casting for all types - all ages, ethnicities, gender identities, people with disabilities, people with special skills (e.g. skateboarders), twins/triplets, etc.

The casting is for paid background (aka extra) work. Mandatory COVID testing provided by production. Must have valid ID to fill out a federal I9 form.
